Letters have gone out from the City of Sheboygan’s Assessment office, informing city property owners of their new real estate assessment values for the 2026 assessment year.
Open Book meetings will be held to give all property owners a chance to compare their information with similar properties, or to discuss concerns with the assessment department’s staff. Residents are strongly encouraged to make an appointment for a meeting.
Officials say open book meetings will be mostly by email or phone, with limited office visits. Meetings will be held Monday, August 24, 2026 through Thursday, August 27, 2026 between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, and on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
The 2026 Board of Review Meeting will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
