A Manitowoc School Employee is due in court this afternoon where she is facing charges of grooming a child for sexual activity. According to court records, 32-year-old Courtney A. Haupt was released on $10,000 cash bail.
Haupt was employed as a Special ed paraprofessional with the Manitowoc School District. She was arrested on August 20th following an investigation regarding allegations of inappropriate communication, which included text messages and verbal contact with a child. She has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the results of the investigation.
