It’s time again for drivers to pay extra attention to keep children safe as they head back to school.
AAA Spokesperson Brynna Knapp says motorists must stay focused. “Expect increased activity at every intersection that you travel through and especially through school zones. Obeying those posted school zone speed limits, making sure that you put your phone away and have eliminated all distractions as kids can jump through an intersection at any time. Watching for those crossing guards and pedestrians”
Knapp says drivers can expect to see more e-bikes and e-scooters, which are gaining popularity.
