Community members are invited to discover what’s possible at Lakeshore College’s “Chart Your Course Community Open House” on Wednesday, October 28th. The event explores more than 65 career programs, and includes getting hands-on with welding.
The open house takes place from 3-7 PM at Lakeshore’s Cleveland Campus and will give prospective students and community members an opportunity to explore career options, tour campus facilities, meet faculty and current students, and connect with experts who can answer questions about financial aid, scholarships, admissions, academic support and more.
As for making those sparks, visitors interested in skilled trades will be offered a hands-on opportunity to experience welding firsthand and learn how technical education can lead to rewarding careers in the manufacturing and skilled trades industries. The workshop will be conducted in partnership with the American Welding Society Lakeshore Section.
Lakeshore College has no application fees, and prospective students can apply even if they have not yet decided which program they want to pursue. Registration is encouraged. To learn more or register, visit lakeshore.edu/openhouse
