The City of Sheboygan will be observing Halloween on – Halloween!
With the holiday falling on a Saturday, there was no need to find an alternate day, and the hours in Sheboygan on the 31st are from 4-7 PM. Participating homes should leave lights or decorations on during trick-or-treat hours, and the City had some safety rules to pass along.
Pedestrians should add reflective elements to costumes and carry a flashlight. Always remain on sidewalks and cross streets only in crosswalks, and even then only after looking both ways. Also, avoid running.
Drivers should reduce speed in neighborhoods, especially between 4 and 7 PM. Be extra alert, limit distractions, and be aware that not all costumes may be easy to see.
