The Milwaukee Brewers stand just one victory away from their first-ever World Series title after routing the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night by a score of ten-to-one.
The game-3 win was fueled by an eight-run outburst in the fifth inning. Starter Robert Gasser delivered a stellar performance on the mound, facing the minimum through six shutout innings.
Milwaukee now holds a commanding three-games-to-none series lead, with a chance to complete the sweep and take the trophy tonight in Tampa Bay. First pitch is set for 7pm Central.
