Packer alternate jersey for the Bears game are here and they’re…….fine.

Can I be honest about something? I think my hair is thinning. Can I be honest about something else? I might be out on jersey reveals. I know it is a time honored social media tradition to overreact to your favorite team releasing an alternate jersey. Some people are puking their guts out at how ugly it is, some people are saying they absolutely nailed it and the two sides bark at each other for a few hours until we return to flock cameras or data centers or videos of dogs doing funny things (my favorite).

But honestly? I just don’t think I care. If the Packers release an alternate jersey? Fine. If they don’t? Fine. I can’t get worked up about it anymore.

That said, I do enjoy a cream color on a jersey. The Bucks’ Cream City Edition jerseys are some of my favorite alternates for any team I root for:

I also like the “G” and “B” overlay logo on the shoulder. A nod to the Lombardi Packers is always a proper play. Other than that, as long as this team wins 12 games and is hosting playoff games I don’t care what jersey they’re wearing.

PS: One amendment to the above blog: If these jerseys somehow prevent Matt LaFleur from calling inside handoffs on 2nd and 9, then I’m all for them.

Double PS: Reading this blog back, I think it’s possible I’m aging into my “WHO CARES” social media-guy era! I used to really get annoyed clicking on any article and seeing random people/bots all posting, “WHO CARES!” “NOBODY CARES!” “THIS IS NEWS??” But it sort of feels like that’s what I’m headed towards. I guess it’s true what they say, eventually you become what you hate. Crank up the “WHO CARES” gif generator! I’m ready!
