Officials with the Sheboygan Food Bank say recent changes to the federal SNAP program, known as FoodShare in Wisconsin, are affecting access to food assistance for families and individuals across our state. 37,000 fewer Wisconsin residents are receiving FoodShare benefits since new changes became law, including nearly 17,000 children, according to Wisconsin DHS data. As these changes take effect, Sheboygan County Food Bank and their partner network remain committed to helping our neighbors access nutritious food when they need it.
