Users of I-43 will encounter ramp closures at Highway V this week. The Wisconsin DOT says that full closures of the I-43/Highway V interchange will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, June 10 and 11.
A full closure of the I-43 northbound on and off ramps will be in place on Wednesday from 2 AM until 8 PM, while the southbound ramps will be closed during those same hours on Thursday. This will allow crews to conduct paving operations.
Additionally, long-term, single-lane closures can be expected to cause periodic slowdowns and backups during high traffic periods within the span of the project between Wilson-Lima Road and Highway 42, and short-term closures will also occur in various locations within the work zone.
Motorists are advised to pay attention to traffic control devices and signage, and to exercise caution in the work zone for the safety of crews and drivers alike.
