More than 1400 people joined in last week’s United Way Day of Caring.
According to officials with the United Way of Sheboygan County, the volunteers were dispatched to 42 different locations across the county, participating in manual labor, mowing lawns, planting trees and even hauling gravel.
While the organization is still compiling the total amount of hours contributed by volunteers, they noted that there’s no placing a price tag on the impact the good deeds will have on our community.
