Wisconsin saw nearly 56-thousand people cast in-person absentee ballots on the first day of early voting, surpassing turnout from recent elections two weeks before Election Day. The state Elections Commission reported 55-thousand 659 in-person absentee voters on Tuesday. That exceeds the 33-thousand 644 voters who cast ballots on the first day of early voting in 2022.
Early voting continues the remainder of this, and all of next week. City Hall hosts the voting in the City of Sheboygan, while votes can be cast elsewhere in the county at municipal Clerk’s offices. To find yours, visit https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/
