Users of I-43 can expect to encounter ramp closures as crews put finishing touches and pavement markings on various interchanges between Highway 42 and Wilson Lima Road. Those include northbound ramps on Wednesday and Thursday and southbound ramps on Thursday and Friday, and will involve all four Sheboygan interchanges. The DOT says that no two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time, and times are approximate since ramps will re-open as soon as the paint is dry. Closures are planned as follows:
Northbound I-43 Ramp Closures for Wednesday, Nov. 4 and Thursday, Nov. 5
- County V on and off ramps 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- WIS 23 on and off ramps 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- WIS 28 on and off ramps 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- WIS 42 off ramp – 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Southbound I-43 ramp closures for Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. Nov. 6
- County V on and off ramps 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- WIS 23 on and off ramps 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- WIS 28 on and off ramps 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- WIS 42 off ramp 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.
There will also be various lane closures…during the nighttime on I-43 and both day and nighttimes on Highway 23 between Taylor Drive and I-43.
